Overview
Originally built in the 1940’s, The Woolstores Alexandria comprises of a total of four heritage woolsheds converted into thousands of square metres of creative office space. As one of South Sydney’s most recent large-scale commercial developments, the space combines a unique mix of rustic and modern elements and has attracted many high profile tenants.
Included in our extensive package of stairs and balustrades were 10 staircases of classic styling. With open channel stringers reflecting the existing exposed structural work in the building, these stairways also included timber treads, glazed balustrades and stainless steel handrails. Selected for our expertise and resourceful design capacity, the Active Metal team completed each stage of the project with a high level of efficiency and quality.
