Overview:
A high energy fitout designed to motivate and inspire, the recently opened Virgin Active Health Club in Sydney’s Moore Park certainly isn’t your average run-of-the-mill gym. Aiming to be the healthy heart of the community, the centre is home to the largest and widest range of group exercise classes in east/south Sydney and features the latest and greatest fitness equipment available on the market.
Spread across two levels, the facility required a staircase that would not only connect the floors, but also act as a key design element of the fitout. Clad in trademark red vinyl, the Active Metal designed staircase is certainly a head-turner. Other works included the mild steel and glazed balustrades to all voids and numerous handrails throughout.
