Overview:
Looking to create an engaging and supportive environment to reflect the organisation’s brand aspirations, Teacher’s Health Fund recently undertook a major refurbishment and modernisation of their level 3-4 Surry Hills offices with award winning architects Bates Smart. Bringing together all business units across two floors, the new fitout creates a more collaborative environment and presents a united front to staff and clients.
The centrepiece of the reception and break-out zones, as well as the fitout as a whole, is the crescent shaped void and curved steel stair, designed to reflect the buildings shape. Fabricated, installed and finished by the Active Metal team, this stair installation demonstrates Active’s ability to handle a turnkey project with both a challenging design and challenging lead-time of just 8 weeks.
