Overview

Set against a background of timber lining panels, the full height atrium style staircase of Sydney Slipway’s commercial building is flooded with natural light and the centrepiece of the multistorey office. The combination of stainless steel and glass combine to create a well-balanced and well defined balustrade installation.

Despite being ‘cost-engineered’ to meet the client’s budget constraints, the stair is an impressive sight. There is certainly no evidence that Active Metal has cut any corners with a consistently high quality finish throughout.
