Overview
Using natural light to advantage and a light and bright colour scheme, State Super’s recent fitout has revitalised, lightened and modernised this office space with a Nordic flare. The combination of lime washed Victorian Ash balustrade members with clear finished cement board gives the stair a contemporary appearance which fits perfectly within the design brief.
Running through to the upper floor, the interconnecting stair links the hub spaces on each floor to provide flexibility and facilitate both collaborative and individual work. Active Metal also completed all of the timberwork, lime finishing, cement board, carpet to the treads, nosings and tactile indicators to ensure the stair was finished to perfection.
