Overview
Opening its doors as the international standard of art deco glamour, the 5 star Primus Hotel Sydney is perfectly positioned in the heart of the city and at the epicentre of entertainment, history and retail. Converted from empty office spaces, the heritage sensitive refit of this iconic 1930’s building which was once the Sydney Water Board Headquarters, has created an authentic, sophisticated and engaging experience for guests.
Set across six floors, the hotel rooms, lobbies and common areas feature luxurious interiors and heritage features such as original marble columns and timber veneer panelling which reflect the original design. The Active Metal team supplied, fabricated and installed a variety of balustrades, handrails and brass detailing from the lobby right through to the rooftop restaurant and pool deck.
