Consolidating five Sydney workspaces into a single flagship office, this government owned corporation offices are set across 17 levels and 20,364 square metres. Equipped with smart technologies in order to meet a series of five-star energy ratings, this iconic office features indoor gardens, flexible work spaces and a variety of breakout spaces for staff to relax and connect with their colleagues. Executed collaboratively, professionally and safely by the team at Shape, this fitout was completed in a record 28 weeks.
Central to the design of the space is the interconnecting stair, created by the Active Metal team. Designed in collaboration with the legendary team at GeyerThese stairways linking the fitout through all levels acts as the central artery to the fitout. The mesh balustrades serve to brighten each flight and create a sheer, ethereal effect.
Echoing the perforated metal staircase design element intent of transparency and lightness, each void features frameless glass balustrades which help to showcase the warm wood tones and features of the stairs. The glazed balustrades are structural and were engineered to ensure compliance with the barrier loading requirements for the fitout.

100 Mount St was built for property developer Dexus Property Group and is an outstanding example of sustainable building design. Features an innovative cross-braced structure, this building is efficiently engineered to minimize the carbon impact of construction. Original design was by the world renowned architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in association with local architects Architectus.
