Overview
New company branding called for a new office fitout, with Ozforex calling on Executive Interiors and Bates Smart to design a more open plan workspace for their Sydney HQ. With desk spaces built with flexibility and wellbeing in mind, the space now includes sit-stand desks, monorail workstations and a variety of casual breakout areas.
Connecting the 2 floors is the structural steel stair created by Active Metal, allowing for the seamless flow of traffic between spaces whilst encouraging collaboration between employees. A bright statement piece, this stair was constricted by the tight spaces between reinforcing beams. However cutting out additional penetrations was a smart design move allowing more light and increasing the impression of openness.
