Overview
A bold neon colour palette of purple, magenta and electric blue isn’t what you’d expect from an office building in the heart of Sydney’s CBD – but MYOB wanted to create a space that was uniquely theirs, referencing the colour spectrum of their branding. Designers Cachet Group, with their catch-cry “Personalised Spaces” did just that!
As a company that provides business management solutions to companies across Australia, MYOB wanted to create an office space that supported team work and collaboration, but also one that resonated with their determination to stay at the cutting edge of accounting software industry. Working with Cachet, MYOB’s Sydney office is set across three floors and includes a multitude of flexible work areas – from private meeting rooms to board rooms, breakout rooms and “hot desk” style workspaces.
The Active Metal team was brought in to create the interconnecting stair that joins each of the three levels. The subdued, monochrome colour palette of the stairs serves as a complementing balance to the neon pink spandrel linings, with the stair design picking up the grey and black of the geometric carpet below.
