Overview:
Set on the fringe of Sydney’s iconic Hyde Park, the centrally located Hyde Park Plaza recently went a complete modernisation and refurbishment of its rooms and facilities, including the transformation of its pool deck. As one of the key attractions to guests of the hotel, the Level 15 rooftop swimming pool deck offers a pleasant retreat with sweeping views of the CBD – made even more sensational with Active Metal’s help.
Active Metal designed, fabricated and installed the new glazed stainless steel balustrades that surround this amazing setting, including pool entry gates. Designed for longevity and low maintenance, the balustrades were constructed using electro-polished grade 316 stainless steel. Due to the sheer height of the installation, the balustrade was also high load rated and included toughened and heat-soaked glass.
