Architect: Lippman Partners
Client: Coca Cola
Location: Northmead
Work completed by Active Metal:
Frameless glass balustrades with mild steel stanchions, curved glazed balustrades, spider style patch fittings
Overview:
Designed to provide opportunity for greater social interaction between staff and guests, Coca Cola’s high quality production and distribution centre acts as the public face of the company, with spaces for school groups and other public gatherings as well as an open plan office environment.
As the successful contractor chosen for this project, Active Metal carried out the execution of the architect designed balustrading with proficiency. The scope of work included the accurate CAD plotting and production of curved glass to the main entry stair as well as many metres of frameless glass to the balconies and internal atrium. Painted mild steel posts provided a contrasting element to the design, complemented by spider-style patch fittings.
