Overview
Located in prime position with only a short walk to public transport, the new Broadway Plaza Shopping Centre is the perfect one stop shop for all of your shopping and lifestyle needs. Working with owner developer Deicorp from the early days of the development, Active Metal was the chosen specialist for fabrication and installation of the balustrades and handrails scattered throughout the newly developed shopping centre.
With safety paramount, works included rigorously engineered crowd loaded balustrades as well as glazed smoke baffles to the underside of the retail podium level slab which will prevent smoke rising to the next level of the shopping centre should a fire ever break out. This was all in addition to many metres of 1200mm high glazed balustrades and stainless steel handrails featured throughout.
