Overview:
With a desire to create a flexible, sophisticated and technology enabled space that offers a stimulating learning experience for all, the Australian Institute of Management’s new headquarters in the heart of Sydney’s Circular Quay is a unique and captivating space.
Reflecting the key values of the client and exhibiting the aesthetics and flair of the designer, the central stair and void encourage visitors to take the journey from reception to the main training facility. Clad in a unique mix of bamboo veneer and 2-pack finished joinery, the finishes of the stair are suitably empathetic with the theme of the fitout. Taken on as a complete turkey assignment, Active Metal designed, fabricated and installed the steel staircase structure as well as all of the support beams, structures and joinery details.
