Overview:
Centrally located in Sydney’s CBD, AIPE is a professional education facility which aims to develop their students into confident professionals through their specifically designed courses. In order to inspire and motivate their students and staff, AIPE required a bright and attractive fitout to best re-position itself to attract and retain more students than ever before.
Active Metal was pleased to be part of the project from its inception being selected to supply and install the structural steel stairs, glazed balustrades and timber treads as well as all paint finishing on the structure. This beautifully handcrafted staircase was fabricated, installed and finished within a 4-week period, showcasing what can be achieved even with a tight schedule. Other works included demolition of the concrete for the penetration, and remedial concreting works to other zones.
