Overview:
Located in the bustling heart of the CBD, 9 Hunter Street recently underwent extensive refurbishment to improve the workplace environment and accessibility. One of the key features of this refurbishment was the new ground floor lobby, designed to welcome guests with warm wood tones and natural stone, offset by the bright greens of the living plant wall and furniture accents.
Working alongside architect Gray Puksand and the fitout builder, Active Metal’s work included freestanding and wall fixed stainless steel handrails, the frameless glass balustrades to the internal and external access ramp and steps, plus a suspended glazed awning; creating a space that is not only impressive, but accessible for all.
