Overview
Standing out from the crowd in the competitive Sydney real estate market is hard enough, however, 309 George Street presented an additional challenge; age. Built in the 1970’s, this 14 storey building, located above Wynyard station, was well past its prime and in need of a modern day makeover.
Working in partnership with Outkast, Active Metal helped to transform the building’s once lifeless rooftop into a vibrant outdoor entertaining and recreation zone for the building’s occupants, modifying the existing rooftop steel balustrades, turning them into a compliant glazed balustrade. Reinvigorating this space with modern, cutting edge aesthetics, 309 George Street demonstrates exactly how a commercial space can be creatively utilised to maximise lease appeal.
