Overview
LGT Crestone Wealth Management Limited, a prominent financial firm, recently undertook a major project to create a luxurious and sophisticated workspace at 101 Collins Street in Melbourne. The project spans over 2,000 square meters across two floors and aims to establish an environment that reflected elegance, functionality, and prestige.
The centrepiece of this remarkable transformation is the stunning white single switchback steel staircase. Its design was meticulously crafted to seamlessly integrate with the overall aesthetic of the workspace. The clean lines and sleek white finish of the staircase create a sense of modern sophistication that harmonises with the surrounding architecture and interior design. The careful selection of timber treads and accents adds warmth to the otherwise minimalist palette, creating a captivating visual impact.
The metal balustrades, constructed in panels, were assembled on-site to ensure a perfect fit and finish. The solid timber treads were selected for their durability and aesthetic appeal, contributing to the overall richness of the staircase design. Timber handrails were carefully designed to provide both functional support and an added layer of visual appeal.
The choice of a single switchback design not only optimises space utilisation but also provides a sense of continuity and flow between the two levels. This design choice was vital in maintaining a seamless transition that didn’t disrupt the workspace’s rhythm. Additionally, the solid timber nosings add a touch of traditional craftsmanship to the contemporary design, blending the best of both worlds.
Beyond its functional purpose, the staircase stands as a symbol of prestige and luxury within the LGT Crestone Wealth Management workplace. Its striking presence in the office space serves as a visual testament to the firm’s commitment to excellence and attention to detail. The staircase is not merely a means of moving between floors; it embodies the essence of the workplace’s identity and aspirations.
