Steel Picket balustrade – custom or wrought iron style

The example here was a decorative“wrought iron” style square bar picket and balustrade panel and was mechanically connected to the stair. This design typically has the handrail inboard as a completely separate element with the steel picket barrier rising above the standard minimum of 1000mm. In this example we were matching an existing detail but most alternatives would be able to be fabricated. All mild steel components would be prepared and primed off site with either hand or spray applied top coats being completed after site fabrication.
