Brass handrails finished in aged patina are a popular choice in high quality and heritage environments. Colour shades can vary from a light honey right through to a deep black-bronze. However it is important to understand that brass will continue to age over time and no colour will remain fixed for very long. A Patina finish is less prone to hand marks and will require maintenance over time with reapplications of microwax. The aged patina would be given a microwax coating following installation. Examples shown here are 50mm and 38mm diameter respectively.
