Stair Inspiration – Sanya Jinmao Farm Lab

Designed by the architect CLOU architects, Sanya Jinmao Farm Lab is a 4000sqm four-storey exhibition space, a hub for scientific research in tropical agriculture, as well as growing demand for rural and inland tourism. The farm lab aims to integrate the elements of climate and ecological technology of the site for green, sustainable, multifunctional usage.

Circular stairs play an inspirational role in indoor and outdoor connections, as well as vertical connections. A spiral stair and huge stairs of the multi-functional theatre are used to connect the indoor and outdoor, which made the flow more frequently to go outside and finally achieved the thorough connection.
